MOCA fosters active dialogue, participation and celebrates complexity in order to serve as an inclusive cultural hub in this hyper-diverse city and world. MOCA presents rotating exhibitions and programmes that prioritize twenty-first-century artistic production, primarily through commissioning new work. Artists, relationships, and experimentation are at the centre of everything that MOCA does. The museum is housed on the first three floors of the historic Tower Automotive Building, a former aluminium factory known for its unique architecture.

MUSEUM PARTNERS, members of the Whitney Museum of American Art and ICOM, receive free admission upon presenting proof of active membership with the Whitney or ICOM at the Box Office on the day of their visit.
